Meet Sookie

I would like for you to meet our newest family member....

She loves to cuddle.

 and Dmitri loves her, of course.

Two points to anyone who can guess where the name "Sookie" comes from. No Google-ing!

*Edit* For those of you who guessed Trueblood, you're right. We are obsessed with the show. I've never really been into the whole vampire thing, but if you are going to do vampires, Trueblood is top-knotch. I can't help but love the twisted Southern culture, considering I grew up in southern Alabama. 

I totally didn't think of the Gilmore Girls reference! I also loved that show...but no, not from there. And speaking of Lauren Graham, does anyone watch Parenthood?

If you haven't guessed, we are really into TV, and we don't even own one!

    True Blood! We just started watching that a dew nights ago and had to rearrange our Netflix cue because I couldn't stand waiting an extra day for disc 3 :)

    She's super cute - as is Dmitri!

    I hope Gilmore Girls!!!! But if not, I'll still read your blog, even though that show is my all time favorite. Adorable cat. I have a gray cat with green eyes named Pickle. :)

    Hey, my friend directed me to your blog and I have to say it is one of my new favorites.

    When I was little I had a picture book called Sookie's Day In The Park or something like that. It was part picture book part coloring book and I loved it. If that's what your kitty name is from then you are rad.

    WEll honey child, it has been awhile since I dropped by..hope you don't mind...the door was open. Your Dimitri opened it...He looks wonderful, a great year he has had with his beautiful parents.

    LOVE me some "Sookie". Gosh .. it was particularly bloody last Sunday night, huh? Yuck. Have you read the books? They are A-MAZ-ING.

    As for breaking things, I've been lucky. My tank just started breaking things at 19 months. I always have a tube of gorilla super glue handy. I've also taught myself to put my laptop, camera, and ipad up high ... very high - he's a climber too.
