Fat Caroline Day

Tuesday would normally seem like an awfully boring day for a birthday. (Yes, today is my birthday!) Not today.About once every ten years, I get to share my birthday with Mardi Gras. Which is by far the best holiday exchange. Much better than President's day (So blase!)

But, because I live in a city that is too hipster for Mardi Gras, (I grew up celebrating Mardi Gras down on the Gulf Coast), I will be doing my usual Tuesday routine. Going to class, eating dinner, studying, working on a piece of furniture or two.

But, I might work a few clandestine drinks in there, since it's my last year to drink illegally!

There. I told you how old I am.

    My routine has been pretty much the same too, but the girls and The Husband had President's Day off, so we took advantage! :-)
