Two Years: Of Wedded-Ness

Two years ago, today, David and I did not say "I do"...that got left out of the wedding somehow. But what we did say was this...

I David, choose you Caroline, my lily, to be my wife. I promise to tenderly devote myself to you for the rest of our lives.  I give you my heart, my deepest passions, my most inspiring thoughts and the laughter in my soul. I promise to stay by your side when you are scared, to tend to when you are sick, and to rejoice with you when you happy. I swear to be faithful, even during our bleakest winters and our lowest moments. I am not surrendering, I am triumphing. You are my closest friend, my sweetest companion, and the only one in the world who I want to know every detail and crevice of.  From the moment I laid eyes on you I knew that you were my one true love, the love of my life, the only one who I can fully trust, the only one I can be completely myself around. You make be stronger and you drive me towards my dreams. I gladly choose you to love and to cherish and to climb towards the stars with. And yet even if there were no stars in the sky, I would follow you into the dark.

It's hard to believe that it has been two years, and yet, so much has happened. We have moved twice, transfered schools, got a puppy, had a baby, bought a house...I can only wonder what the future will hold.
