Instead we bought a new stove, since ours is....well...possessed by demons that like to burn food or randomly decide not to turn on at all. I could not be more excited. Maybe cooking will once again be a relaxing pastime instead of the angering, cursing, kicking the stove, type activity that it is at the moment.
I am excited about the 5.9 Cu. Ft. oven, the smooth top, the self-steam clean, and the hidden heat element....it makes my chef's heart melt.
Tuesday (delivery day) just can't get here soon enough!

it's gorgeous! in our last house we had the original 20 yr old oven with the built in microwave on top. the microwave never worked and the oven suddenly would not turn off. i had to shut off the fuse to get it off!!!! then the home warranty compnay wanted to se if we could repair it and sent someone out. i BEGGED the man to tell our warranty company that it was beyond repair so we could instead get a credit for a new stove. he pretty much laughed when he saw theoven and was happy to help me out!

I think this is the same stove we ended up buying, can't wait until our kitchen is, well, actually a kitchen again so I can start using it!
