The Search is Over & Menu

Look what I received in the mail...my white dishes from William-Sonoma! After a lot of research {post one & post two} I decided to go with the William-Sonoma Pantry Dinnerware. And I could not be happier with my choice. They are incredibly sturdy, while still looking classic and elegant. Perfect! My favorite part has to be the pasta bowl-plate-thing. We eat a lot of pasta, and we hate the awkward eating pasta off of a plate ordeal. So, the pasta-bowl-plate-thing = the perfect solution. No more penne all over the table.

So what are we eating off of our new dinnerware?

~Our Menu~

image via Jeremy & Kathleen  - Vegetable stuffed potatoes

Tuesday: Whole-wheat Spaghetti & salad
Wednesday: "Meaty" Vegetarian Chili served with blue corn chips
Thursday: Homemade Pesto Pasta & salad
Friday: Veggie-Stuffed Potatoes & salad (amazing, by the way!)
Saturday: Breakfast for dinner: Whole-wheat chocolate chip and banana pancakes served with fruit and maple syrup

Since we have started menu planning (click for post) our lives have become so much simpler, our bellies fuller, and our bank account happier. Hopefully our menu will inspire you! I will link to any recipes that I have found online or through fellow bloggers.

On another note: we are vegetarians! So, that accounts for the lack of meat in our meals. ; )

Those dishes are gorgeous! We use very shallow bowls for our pasta, too.

Your menu is mouthwatering. I'm definitely bookmarking those vegetable stuffed potatoes--yum! We're not vegetarians, but we only eat meat one or two nights a week, so I'm always on the lookout for good meatless recipes.

Okay, I've been reading since I saw your blog linked on ohdeedoh (I live just outside of Athens, so of course I clicked over), so I figured I'd de-lurk. Love your blog!

I've GOT to try those potatoes and I'd love to know your chili recipe!

I am of the opinion that any meal tastes better on a brand new set of dishes.

mmmm...a baked potato sounds so good right now!

And do you have a new header? (Or maybe I'm behind.) Anyway, I love it!

Please keep posting your menus! I've been trying to start menu planning for myself but I am the worst with coming up with ideas that don't involve take-out. Your menus definitely help!

Love your blog. I too have started menu planning, and it has been so much easier on the pocket book. I noticed you make a pasta pesto and salad, there is a restaurant here, that serves a cold bow tie pasta with pesto, and fresh parm, that we have adopted here at home, and is wonderful.

Oh, and love the dishes!!

Thanks, for stopping by my blog the other day.
