Ready for Thanksgiving Menu

I love Thanksgiving, and we have so much to be thankful for this year (and always). I am especially excited because we have the honor of hosting David's family this year, which is our first Thanksgiving in our new home.

With Thanksgiving less than two weeks away, I wanted to share a few recipes that I am considering this holiday season, and I'd love to hear your holiday favorites.

Of course, we will have Turkey, and my mother-in-law and sister-in-laws are bringing desserts, salad, and sides.

This Green Bean Casserole looks heavenly...(and simple!!)

I like traditional food for the holidays, but sometimes a little twist makes traditional even more wonderful. Like a Pumpkin Cheesecake in lieu of a pie!

And nothing seems more holiday-esque (and tasty) than a warm, Cranberry Cider!

I think being pregnant only makes me more excited about the food this holiday season! What are you making?

Aah Thanksgiving. My family is coming over to our place this year and besides the turkey and traditional sides, I am going to be making this amazing fried sausage stuffing with sage. I'm also going to put together these ridiculously easy Gooey Caramel Apple Mini Pies.

Delicious choices and photos! Pumpkin cheesecake is amazing. And I love cider this time of year too... letting it simmer in the crockpot all day so it makes the house smell all yummy...

I have a bad habit of focusing on dessert-making during the holidays... Since I haven't hosted at my house yet, I let everyone else worry about the main dishes. :)
