The Breakfast Room: Plate Wall

The Breakfast room is the room that is first seen when you come into our home, but amidst the master bedroom overhaul and getting ready for the baby, it has been forgotten. I have been collecting plates for a while to hang above the table. Here is what I've gotten so far:

All of the plates accept one are from the Anthropologie clearance section at one time or another (I paid $3.95 a piece; full price they range from $12-$28)

I tried out the Disc plate hangers (Hobby Lobby for $1.99) to secure them to the wall. They are so awesome!
There are still plenty of things I would love to do in this room, but I'd say we've come a long way:

Gorgeous! I wish I had your patience and knack for collecting things! I think homes look so much more lived in when it's clear that everything wasn't bought and displayed at once. I can't wait to have a breakfast nook someday :)

Love it! So cheery and colourful. I love the hangers too - I haven't seen that kind before, only the kind that kinda wraps around and grips the plate.
