I planted two heirloom tomatoes, one cherry tomato, and one yellow bell pepper plant. I get asked a lot, how I do all that I do. Now, I definitely don't have it all together. However, one thing that enables me to get work done is my Ergo. I can't imagine life without it. Damon loves it; I love it. Pure happiness.
Gardening in the Ergo.
And no, this is not an ad for Ergo. I only wish I were receiving compensation for this, but I'm not. ; )
I also got a sweet basil plant. Grow little plants...!
In other green-related projects:
I am determined that our backyard will no longer be a bed of weeds, but will be a lush grassy yard. Literally, we have no grass. But hopefully, that is about to change...
weeds. and dirt.
We Round-Uped the yard...perhaps not the most green option. And now we have this:
Mostly dead weeds.
Next up, we will be tilling and seeding. I really hope it goes as planned! Wish us some luck.
Have you been getting into spring and getting outside more? Right now, I am hating being inside...hence the lack of indoor projects at the moment. I'll save those for a rainy day. For now, I'm going to rock on the porch with my boys and play in the dead weeds.

the garden looks great!! and that picture does look like an ad for ergo, you are so stunning!! :) hope the rest of your week is wonderful
i totally understand the "no grass in the yard" predicament. our yard is all dirt. we put some hulled bermuda seed in our front yard about three weeks ago and it is finally sprouting into the tiniest little blades of grass i have ever seen!
i also want to do a raised garden next summer, when i have a deck to put it on (which is getting built this summer) so i can't wait to see how yours turns out!
Added bonus is a raised bed is easier to work in! :-) love it!
looks good- I look forward to finding out how it goes as the season progresses!
I don't have any outdoor space myself, but I am planning to make a little herb garden in a window box- thyme a basil I can never get enough of.
edit to add to my previous comment: I didn't have any easy way to put an exterior window box on my apartment, but i rigged one up using wire and a deck box i found last year outside my bedroom window (the only one that gets good light) that was a diy project in itself!
Hey, I'd play with dead weeds over playing inside any day!! I'm glad to hear your outside enjoying yourself with your boys...best of luck with the gardening!
Now that Portland has had some sun I am so excited for gardening. My snap peas are just starting to pop up!! And I don't know what I would do without my ergo either. P is in it right now as I type!
you look beautiful in the garden. i'm amazed at your energy.

Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day. I planted my garden in raised pots and hopefully didn't over plant. Your backyard looks like ours did 10 years ago, and we did a grass mixture from the farm store, here in the southwest called K51, it ended up over the years being mostly bermuda, but it is green. We used to have a joke if it was green we would mow it. Looks like tons of fun, I know how much fun we had over the years working on it.
Love your blog. Can't wait to see your progress.

Love the green post. Here in Colorado we have to wait 'till mother's day weekend to plant outside & I can't wait!
So u luv the ergo! I haven't purchased one yet but now that our litle man is on the outside I'll have to pick one up!
So jealous that your weather allows for planting tomatoes already! Ah.
