Summer Days

I wrote out a long post about how my husband ruined my summer because he hates having fun. Afterward, I decided to save you from my extra dose of negativity. Although, it did have a few interesting metaphors, such as the one comparing sanity to sand and my brain being Miami or something...

To entertain ourselves on these long summer days while David is working and studying, the boys and I have been going for walks, eating vegetables straight out of the garden, playing in the sandbox and kiddie pool, going to the Farmer's market, visiting the park, playing with friends, and we are apart of launching a Waldorf-inspired homeschool co-op that will be starting this Fall. It's been busy and fun!

Some photos of our times...

 Damon loves walks

 Double stroller = double fun

 Damon - 3.5 months
 Picking tomatoes

Yellow Pepper! (He ate the entire thing)

Proud of his gardening

I have often had to remind myself, "Good moms have sticky floors, dirty ovens, and happy kids [and a mimosa with lunch]." Only kidding, of course. ; )

Your little ones are totally adorable. And, the home-school co-op sounds interesting - I hope to hear more about it!

OMG, that baby smile! If I had one of those, I would let the damned house fall in around me. I actually think I felt an ovary twitch...

Happy summer!

My goodness are those boys so sweet.

Oh to have a garden. I'm quite envious. Lucky you to enjoy fresh produce that you know exactly how it was grown.

Hope you are enjoying your summer.
