I am slightly addicted to lip balm. And between my own absent-mindedness and the littles' curiosity, I must keep at least 5 sticks around the house/car/diaper bag to actually have one on hand. I have been asking myself daily, "Can I grow/raise/bake/make that myself?!" and lip balm was no exception. I set out to explore lip balm DIY. So using natural and organic ingredients, I made 35 sticks of Organic Peppermint Lip Balm.
Not only was it a lot of fun to fill the little tubes, it also made my house smell delicious. And my lips are super soft and smooth (and rather tasty! ehm, David!). So I am sharing my fun with you.
Comment below to win two tubes of Organic Peppermint Lip Balm! The giveaway ends Saturday, March 10th at midnight and the winner will be announced Monday morning. Please make sure there is an email address linked to your account.
I'm also on Etsy! I hope to expand my shop soon, but for now you can get some all-natural deliciousness for your lips.

I love how you can pretty much make anything, you always make it seem so easy and you package it so cute! ;)
so fun!
Ooooo, lip balm giveaway? I want to try it!
My kids generally destroy my lip stuff, so I keep it pretty cheap, but every once in awhile I like to splurge on the good stuff and hide it from them!
I am kind of obsessed with chapstick...I would LOVE to win this!!
Lovely! THanks for the chance.

That is so fun! Good for you making your own lip balm! This is the type of stuff I would love to do when Halle requires a little less of my attention! :) It would definitely be a great thing to make for gifts!
Natural AND chapstick AND from a fav. blogger? Doesn't get much better than that! :)
I'm in the same boat with my littles...they call Chapstick "lips" and always tell me their lips are chapped so I'll give them mine...which basically means 19 tubes kiddos, 0 tubes for Mommy. They like the nasty LipSmackers stuff that totally doesn't help if your lips are actually chapped but I'm more of a minty Gal. The only one I've been able to hold onto is one that's shaped like a ball and I think that's bc I know when they have it so I can steal it back. From one GA gal to another, I wanna try!!!! :)))
oo lip balm is fun!! :)
I know what you mean, I keep my Burts Bees lip balm stashed everywhere. Then when I find a tube I had forgotten about its like finding $20 in my coat pocket!
Good to know I'm not the only one with tons of stick of chapstick all over the house! I'd love to try one of yours.
Awesome!!!!
Sounds amazing! I'm a Burt's Bees addict so I would LOVE to try your creation (and maybe find a replacement product for Burt's in my bags/bedside table/car)!
I, too, am completely addicted to lipbalm!! Thanks for the chance to win. =)

Mmmm... I love lip balm, especially one that tastes and smells good. Use it every day :)
How fun! I am also a lip balm adict and this just sounds yummy!
Sweet! I'd love to try it. I can't wait to see what else is in your etsy shop.

You are so creative! I wanna try!
I met someone recently that makes her own soap. Talking to her, I got a bit excited thinking of the possibility of making my own. It'd be neat to know what went into all of our products.
Yum! I love peppermint chap stick! Can I say Burt's Bee is the best, I'm sure yours is even better:)
Lovely! I too have to have multiple lip balms dispurssed through out my house and car too! I make homemade deodarant that we love. Way to go! Would love to try your lip balm!
I'm obsessed with chapstick. I will only use stuff that has mint in them though. So cool you made your own!
Sounds lovely! I just found your blog from another link that had your bottle chandelier (sp?) listed. :)
I have always wanted to try to make my own.
I hate how I don't recognize any ingredients in most store bought chap-sticks.
I love lip balm :) and reading your blog!
