Our Easter

We had a laid back Easter, which was just what we all needed. This was the first year that Dmitri really enjoyed some Easter traditions, so that was a lot of fun. We dyed eggs using turmeric, beets, and cabbage:
Here they are dying:
Dmitri & Damon got books in their Easter baskets (a tradition from my own Easter bunny as a child). Dmitri really loves To Market, To Market, especially since Saturday was the opening day at the farmer's market.

Animated reading in his Easter outfit. (It has a pirate bunny on it).
Gathering the eggs that we dyed!
Over there!
He found all of them!
Damon enjoyed the eggs too!
He proceeded to bang them as hard as he could and tried to eat them. Clever baby. There is a reason we call him, "the honey badger."

We had a lovely time with visiting with our friends, and I got to try a Shephard's Pie for the first time. All in all, a happy day.

How was your Easter?
