Tennessee Summer

blackberries. mountains. flowers in bloom. park. pool. splash pad. making jam. family hugs. snuggles. knitting. vodka tonic for mama. roaming outside. elderflowers. reading Extra Yarn. and Sally Goes to the Farm. playing with trucks and tractors. eggplant parmesan. lusting after farms and barns. Chronicles of Narnia maze. homemade strawberry milkshakes. fishing. ducks. geese. throwing balls. coffee. four-wheeling. lake. jet skis. sand. planting flowers. blisters. reading Radical Homemakers. catching up with my brothers. homemade ice cream. and just a few degrees cooler than Georgia.

Sweet summertime.

We are spending a few weeks in Tennessee with my family while David is busy with work. A lovely change of pace.

What a lovely summer! I'm about fifty pages into Radical Homemakers right now, and so far I am floored by much it speaks to me.

Yum! I'm loving some NC blackberries this season. I'm seeing too many pictures on Facebook of little ones on boats without life vests, so it's wonderful to see your boys having fun and being safe. :)

how fun! I am in Chicago with the kids visiting my family and I agree-- it is nice to have a change of pace!
