Anthropologie-Inspired Confetti Glasses

I painted these Anthropologie-inspired glasses for a wedding gift for my brother & his new wife (and hopefully they are too busy honeymooning to notice this blog post!) While hand-painted glasses that have to be hand-washed might not be the most practical gift, I know that when you are first setting up your home, sometimes it's just nice to have something special - for when guests come over or for a date-night in.

So, after seeing this tutorial through Pinterest (where else!) I knew they would be perfect.

And here are my confetti glasses:

The line up of paint - I just used what I had.
I am sure a lot of other people have thought of this before, but this was the first time that it had occurred to me- using an egg carton to hold different colors of paint. Worked so well!
I want to make some for me now!

What did you use to seal the paint? I followed the link about sealing from the tutorial but the author did not cite which medthod they used.

They look beautiful, by the way!

Love them! I'm sure mine would turn out horrible (I'm really bad at crafty things) but I'm tempted to try!

Your glasses turned out great. I recently made some too. Love the colors you chose.
