Right now, I...

Today is one of those days when all of my thoughts are a little scattered. I could write 4 or 5 different blog posts, which means, I would normally write none at all. It's like, instead of writer's block, I get a mental traffic jam. And so, all of my colliding thoughts are getting placed right here.

Right now, I...

-am obsessed with organizing. Everything. It's as if we moved into our house two years ago, and never actually got settled and together, because we were too busy with school, and babies, and work, etc. Now that I am at home with the kids all day, I am noticing how nothing has a place, and everything needs a place. So slowly, but surely, I am going drawer by drawer, shelf by shelf, closet by closet, room by room....

-feel a little down that the littles and I are fighting off colds & coughs. Here's to quick recoveries and re-entry into the world outside of our little home. Hopefully my homemade elderberry cough syrup will help.

-want to get to work on my fall garden. Next week, next week.

-have realized that my to-do list is the biggest predictor of how stressed I will feel about my week, and how overwhelmed I feel each day. As in, if I make one, I am collected. If I don't, gulp.

 This week's to-do...

-am proud of the watermelon rind that I pickled (from watermelons from my garden). If you are wondering what it tastes like, I have never had it before, so I don't really know....

-am ridiculously excited about two pairs of boots that I got in a swap (I am a part of a swap group!) this week. One is a pair of cute Clark boots, and the other is a pair of real boots.

Real.
-was loving the blue yarn that I am knitting a Christmas hat out of...but I put a little damper on my knitting by having to pull it all out and start over.

-cannot wait to blog about our two newest, very cute, furry additions. I just need to chase them with my camera a little bit more.

A little hint...

How is your week going?

I feel you. I'm exactly the same- HAVE to write things down, or I get overwhelmed and flustered. Also my husband and I are sick, going on week two now! Elderberry is awesome :)

You mentioned you never tasted watermelon,it is supposed to be a sweet fruit in itself, like mango, but softer in the mouth. Now, a southern hemisphere advice.. if it is still summer weather where you are, and when your little ones get over their colds: It makes a deliciously fresh summer juice, or if you put a little ice in the beater with it... like "ice cones" i guess.. and last but not least, it makes also a great popsicle! if you dont have the way to do it, you can try to do it in ice cubes with a little stick.. sweet healthy fat free dessert! right?
