But there is one room that I've kept "secret". The kitchen in our house is my least favorite room. It just doesn't make sense. Every time I walk in it, I think "what were they thinking??"
Like, cabinets going up to a doorway? The un-centered sink? So much wasted space....
But I want to change all of that, and make it practical, functional, and beautiful. And hopefully, a room that I enjoy being in.

I totally agree I think these things everytime I walk past the laundry room. Thanks for the comment love today let me know how the cheese sauce turns out. As you know I am married to a "meat and potatoes man" and if he gives two thumbs up on a vegan recipe I know I need to post it in blogland!

My first thought was, no cabinets by the stove? I'm such a messy cook! I just KNOW your kitchen will be practical and gorgeous when you are done with it!
What's on the other side of the room? A pantry? Can't wait to see what you do with it. I feel for you, we have a "what the heck" kitchen too.
I love looking at the things folks put on the fridge (or as we Louisianans call, "ice box"). It's obviously wedding season, still!
I know when you're done with it, it will be amazing! Can't wait to see. That sink would drive me crazy too!
I hate my kitchen, but only because it's small. I dream of a giant kitchen with a big butcher's block! ::::sigh::::
