Turkey Shirt

I promise I didn't get eaten by my sofa! I've just been busy with a lot of homework...and getting ready for Thanksgiving, of course! I made this shirt for Dmitri to wear for the special occasion, inspired by The Cottage Home. She has a template and great tutorial. And who doesn't love using up fabric scraps. This was the first time that I used heat - n - bond; it's my new addiction!

All of the patterned fabrics are by Amy Butler (scraps from previous projects). I bought the plain white shirt from Target for $6. & I used some leftover turquoise embroidery thread from a project a long time ago!

Love it! It'd be cool to use the same technique to make decorative pillows.

This is the cutest thing ever! I wonder if people would think I was weird if I wore one?

Happy Turkey Day!
