30 Weeks

30.5 weeks pregnant (and exhausted after an Ikea trip)

There is something about the number 30; it seems so big (much like how I feel). And now that we have made it through the holidays, the Christmas decor is packed up, and school is back in session, the end of March seems so soon! I am trying not to freak out, just a little! The idea of having two under two seems quite daunting.

My fears and apprehensions are balanced with my excitement for meeting this new little being. I cannot wait to see who he looks like, and I am impatient to know on what day he will make his debut. (David's birthday is March 20th, and my sister-in-law's birthday is March 25th). I'm anxious about Dmitri transitioning from an only child to a big brother, and I worry that it will be a stressful change. But, I am also hopeful that he will love his little brother as much he loves puppies and kitties!

The pregnancy is going pretty well, but I'm starting to feel pretty tired of being pregnant (or just tired in general!). Right as I entered the third trimester I was overcome by exhaustion, and I'm having to be careful about conserving my energy. Even just small everyday tasks are exhausting. This has always been one of my least favorite parts of being pregnant! I have so many things that I want to do, projects to work on, school assignments, and just chasing a toddler all day...it's frustrating when I feel that I can't keep up! I am also having excruciating back and abdomen pain, even sitting is really uncomfortable. I am in love with my heating pad, it gets me through the day! And this little guy sure loves kicking some ribs! I guess all of that is to say, I am looking forward to having my body back from the parasite that has usurped it! And I mean that in the most endearing way, I'm sure he will be a very cute and sweet little parasite.

Well you may not feel it, but you look super cute! It won't be long until you get to meet that sweet boy!

I bet it is tiring doing everything you are doing while be pregnant! You look great and I hope the next few weeks go great! And I hope you pain subsides too...

Oh, you're so cute!!! My girlfriends keep telling me to get as much as possible done over the next few months because my exhaustion level will most definitely increase for the 3rd trimester.

Don't feel frustrated though...you can only do what you can do...the rest is just the rest. You love your son, you'll do well at school, and you'll stay healthy for baby. Much else beyond that (minus loving your hubs too of course) is just bonus stuff...it's not mandatory!!

Excited to see / read about your little one coming into the world!

I'm feeling just like you! I'm pretty uncomfortable most of the time. And tired. I never want to get out of my recliner.

2 months left! And you look great!

I am in nearly the same boat. My oldest is about a month younger than yours and I am also 30.5 weeks along. I can relate 100% to this post. Everything you're feeling mirrors my own physical and emotional feelings right now!

On the plus side, our little ones will be here before we know it and those projects that we so desperately "needed" to do will mean nothing!
