On April 30th, 2010, this farm house will be ours....
Built in 1901. Surrounded by pecan orchards on all three sides. Tin roof. Clawfoot tub. 6 fireplaces (closed up). Heart-pine floors. 10 ft. + ceilings.
We will be experiencing 110 years of history in this home. And we couldn't be more excited to be a part of it.
Now for the inspection and appraisal....fingers crossed.

Caroline! What a beautiful home! I am in awe at what you have done with that table and sideboard. I can imagine them inside your historic home. How gorgeous.
So, some thoughts on Dmitri's sleep patterns: What sort of napping schedule does he have during the day? They say, sleep beget's sleep. Will, the baby I watched for the last year, was giving his mom similar woes. We really tried to give him a solid nap pattern. He was taking one long one about mid day, about 3 hours. That did seem to help. Also, routine helped at night. And, as hard as this is to do, letting him "cry it out" eventually had the highest success rate. It seems cruel, but there is a lot of research being done on the value of self-soothing. Good luck. I'll be sending sleepy vibes in Dmitri's direction!
"Sounds" very much like my home. Ours was built in 1903, and we also have pecan trees! Makes for yummy candies and desserts during the holidays, btw! Once you get it, we'll have to swap old home stories. :0)
