I love them. They make such a difference in the room; and they block out a lot of light (even though they are unlined.) I also have more of this fabric for some pillows & my other window. Here are a few details:
Fabric: Tonic Living Sweet William Teal ($10 / yard - a 10 % discount)
Measurements: 110" x 52" per panel
Hardware: Wal-Mart ($35 for the rings & the rod)
Total Cost: $95
If you haven't tried making your own curtains, don't be daunted! It's as simple as heating up your iron!

Wow, they look great!!!
Those are gorgeous! Your whole room looks great. Good luck on your upcoming delivery!
your room is so pretty! the hardest part of tonic living is figuring out WHICH fabric to choose!
Your room looks wonderful. Love that fabric.
Very pretty, I've been wanting to hang curtains in our room too, this is a great idea!

Awesome Job! They look perfect in your room!
LOVE the curtains!! The fabric is gorgeous and it looks so perfect in your room!!
Ok, I am seriously intrigued by this. I do NOT sew and I have lots of naked windows in our house too. The curtains I want to buy are way too expensive. Sean's mom said she could make me some but with us living three hours apart it's hard to get together for it. I am checking this out ASAP!
Love your curtains! I love that fabric - beautiful! Thanks for the comments on my blog - I love that you just posted about Stitch Witchery - I have a post planned for later this week about it!
Wow this is so impressive. They look beautiful!!
WOw! I Love them! I may try to make some as well since:
A: I am in desperate need of curtains.
B: I suck at sewing
Thanks for this cute DIY!
Those look awesome!! I'm so excited to try them out since I don't own a sewing machine but need some curtains.
These are great!! I love the way they look in your room!! So pretty!
I am in love with that pattern! And wow only 95 bucks. Love seeing all your DIY projects, so inspiring.
If you're in need of faster curtains, you can do the same thing but with sheets. Walmart has some super cute patterns and they're only $9 for a flat twin or $14 for a full set. That's what I did for our bedroom. I had 4 panels done in about 15 minutes bc all you have to do I sew a loop for the rod --- and in your case, since you used the clips you'd just have to iron. :) I didnt do the recommended prewash like the stitch witchery recommends bc I wanted my sheets to stay crisp looking (I was afraid theyd really look like sheets after they were washed). They look awesome :)
Fabulous!!
Love that Sweet William fabric! I'm all about the no-sew option when possible. I sewed drapes once and it was such a big job!
Those look fabulous. Love the fabric.
i love the bedroom redo....the colors are so vibrant and alive now....i love what you've done with everything in your house...it looks and feels so happy!!!
hugs, cindy
I love that fabric you used! We just installed our own no-sew chevron curtains. I can't believe how easy it was and the results were great!
