No real tree this year, thanks to my husband, Ebenezer. But I decided that our not-so-white "Charlie Brown" tree was better than nothing! I decorated it with various purple ornaments that I got 70% off (occasionally, waiting till the last minute does pay off!) This tree will officially retire after this Christmas...and after about 8 years of service, it's time. Dmitri loves the lights and ornaments, and has already pulled the tree over once. It was mostly my fault, of course.
We attended the annual Helix Christmas party last night. We had a wonderful time with our Athens "family." Here are a few photos of the evening...

We have a Charlie Brown tree this year too and Maddy gets in trouble often for trying to pull it down. I love that last photo! His eyes are so gorgeous!! Merry Christmas!
