A photo of the table...set for 8 adults, but could hold 12-14 (it's a good thing too, considering how quickly the family is growing. In two years, we will gone from 0 kids to 5!)
And thank you all so much for your encouraging words after my visit with the
But now that Thanksgiving is over...Christmas is upon us! We only have one full week left of school (a very intense week, might I add). And then it's time to celebrate the season with friends, family, and of course, a project or two!
This past weekend we cut down our very first Christmas tree...
So many trees...so hard to decide!
Let's take our picture and see if it feels right.
Loaded onto the car...
I am very thankful for high ceilings! Let the decorating begin....

You did a gorgeous job decorating for Thanksgiving, and those pumpkins are really cute that say THANKS!
I truly love your design aesthetic. It's so cozy and down-to-earth! I can't wait to see how you all decorate for Christmas.
Your Thanksgiving table looks like something out of Martha! Great job! I didnt do the tree yet but I'm slightly in love with my little festive display.

Your house is beautiful! :) I love the little pumpkins, too!!
Your Thanksgiving set up looked lovely! I'm excited to have a bigger home and bigger family someday so I can decorate host family get togethers :) Your family portrait in front of your tree is so cute! I am likely putting up our tree and lights sometime between now and Wednesday and waiting until my boyfriend has some time away from work this weekend to decorate it. It bums me out that he's so busy at work form now until March, but it definitely helps me appreciate him more when he is at home.
Your Thanksgiving table looked great! I think the bookshelves made a great backdrop, actually.
I decorated our tree on Saturday and am working on other Christmas decorations here and there. Can't wait to see all of yours!
Thank you lovely friend for your kind words of support. I needed them tonight.
Your family pictures are so beautiful. What a priceless memory. I can't wait to see your tree all dressed up.
Have a wonderful week.
what a beautiful family you have.... and you look adorable!!!
I need to rewind...first of all, I don't think I've seen that room before. I envy your bookcases! Second, I missed the midwife story. Going back to find it now!
Caroline, congrats to us for hosting our first Thanksgiving. You did a stellar job. I love the table and decor! Beautiful tree also, can't wait to see it all decorated. xoxo, your blogger friend!
The Thanksgiving table looks great. I got most Christmas stuff done early this year so we have the whole month to just enjoy it all!
Your decorations are so cute! I love them!! I love that you can actually CUT your own Christmas tree too...uber jealous!!! You look adorable (and like a normal pregnant woman should look) and so does your family in front of the tree! Glad to hear your first Thanksgiving went over so well!
